BANKSHOT ACADEMY

We are extremely fortunate to have the services of ex NBA draft and Taranaki BP Bears player Willie Banks running the Bankshot Academy.

 

Willie came to New Zealand in 1993 to play professional basketball for the BP Bears, he then made NZ his home.

 

Willie is passionate about teaching our young basketballers the skills and techniques to compete at a high level in our sport. The Bankshot Academy is aimed at Year 7 and 8 students and runs on Thursday afternoons (3.30-5.00pm) at the Stratford High School Stadium.
